For this project, I created an illustration design based on a personal photo—specifically, one taken during a visit to the largest library in Kendari, a facility open to the public.

I used Affinity to create this design; if you aren’t familiar with it, Affinity is a design platform similar to Figma. I worked on this with great enthusiasm and passion, though it required significant effort, as creating illustrations in Affinity can be quite challenging.

As you may know, illustration design is the process of creating visual artwork—such as cartoons, caricatures, and decorative drawings—to convey ideas, stories, or messages. This discipline combines fine art with visual communication to clarify information. There is a unique feeling to creating an illustration design, as it allows you to bring something real to life through art.
